Writing A Book Takes A Long Time And Isn't Easy!

We thought writing the first eBook would take about a week. Well, the first "proof" copy took two months! Getting all the instructions and schematics together so they were in the proper sequence and so they made sense, took forever. There were no color pics in the first "Hydrilla Gorilla" book. This was done on an IBM computer with DOS, no windows, and pictures weren't part of the system. Plus, printing pictures was much too expensive to make it possible to even produce a book.

We sold the first book in BASSMASTER magazine and others for years until eBay came along. When we put the first book on eBay it was obvious that we needed a website right away. We've been online with our first book since 1998 and we've been constantly improving and updating our books since then.

Take LOTS of pictures of your Grand Stand or Jon Boat project and send them in. Your boat or deer stand could end up on this website AND in the Grand Stand Plans book!
