The door is now bigger and has the window included in it.

There are tips in this book to show you the easy way to move the Grand Stand to other locations even after you have set it up in the field. The Grand Stand "rack" shown in this book is basically the foundation for the stand that enables you to do this. It is quick, easy, and economical to build.

No need to build heavy, expensive 4 x 4 legs on a "tower" and complicate everything. All you need is a tree and any reasonable size of tree will do!

There is also a "freestanding rack" that is detailed in the book for you so you can locate your Grand Stand anywhere you like!

The size of a box stand is critical and most are built improperly. The size of the windows and door are also VERY critical. If the door is too small, entry and exit are difficult. The dimensions of the Grand Stand have been tested and changed for over twenty years and they are the absolute best for all around hunting effectiveness and comfort.

Because your Grand Stand will be so comfortable, you can have elderly people, women and children in your stand from now on and everyone will thoroughly enjoy the experience.

The Grand Stand is so air tight that when the windows and door are closed, you can basically carry on a normal conversation and not be heard with game as close as twenty feet!

If the windows of a box stand are too large, they interfere with each other, they are difficult to open and close quietly and quickly, and game can see you too easily. The Grand Stand has all the correct dimensions to allow for comfortable, effective hunting. The windows are also set up PROPERLY to allow for easy, quick, silent opening and closing WITHOUT having them in the way when they are open AND the Grand Stand saves you money on the cost of materials.

If a box stand is too small, only one person can hunt from it. The stand above was built over twenty  years ago and will only accommodate one hunter. The windows are too big, they open in the wrong direction and won't clear the inside shelving or each other, etc. If windows aren't set up properly in the beginning, they are a problem from then on and it has a negative effect on your hunting. It is easy to set windows up properly so they will be easy to open quickly when game shows up and out of the way for shooting.

Also, the door is too small to allow for easy entry/exit. It cost more to build this small stand as a Grand Stand and a Grand Stand will easily accommodate two people (but it isn't too big), and the windows & doors are just the right size to allow you to hunt effectively and comfortably.

If a box stand is too big, it ends up being difficult to hunt from when alone because you have to shuffle from side to side to properly see your hunting area. The windows of this stand are too big and the door is too small to allow for easy entry/exit.

It would cost much more to build this stand than a Grand Stand.

The door is not on the back of the stand, its on the side where it should be, and the door is large enough for ease of entry/exit and the window is simply incorporated into the door. The windows are small enough to allow you to comfortably move around without being seen and yet easy to open quietly, quickly, and easy to shoot from.

The specific size of the Grand Box Stand is the result of building many box stands and making improvements along the way.  There is a specific box stand size which is shown in this book that makes it possible to hunt effectively with a partner and not be overcrowded OR, you can hunt effectively alone if you prefer, AND the Grand Stand is the most economical to build.
